Check-Up

A check-up is a group of health screening procedures offered to healthy individuals for the early detection and prevention of probable health problems. Age, lifestyle, genetic inheritance and environmental factors all have to be taken into account when a check-up programme is designed.

What a check-up is not A check-up is not simply a group of tests and investigations. Diagnostic tests carried out after a critical illness has already been diagnosed are not a check-up either. A check-up should be understood as a consultancy report on your present and future health status.
