These terms apply to the akabirhealth.com website and to the enquiry and patient portal services offered through it. By using the site you accept them.

What we do

Akabir Health arranges medical treatment abroad. We identify suitable hospitals, obtain quotations, assist with visas and travel, and provide a personal assistant and interpreter during your stay.

What we are not

Akabir Health is a medical tourism and assistance company, not a hospital or a clinic. We do not provide medical treatment ourselves and we do not practise medicine. Treatment is provided by the partner hospital and its clinicians, who are responsible for your clinical care. Information on this website is general and is not medical advice; it must not be used to diagnose or treat a condition.

Quotations

A quotation is prepared for your specific case and is valid for the period stated on it. Quotations cover the items listed and nothing further. Prices may change if your clinical situation changes, if the hospital revises its charges, or if additional treatment proves necessary once you are assessed in person.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate and complete medical information. Withholding relevant medical history can make a quotation inaccurate and can put your treatment at risk. You are responsible for holding a valid passport and for meeting the entry requirements of the destination country, with our assistance.

Liability

We take reasonable care in selecting partner hospitals and in arranging your travel. We are not liable for the clinical outcome of treatment, which is a matter between you and the treating hospital, nor for delays caused by embassies, airlines or third parties outside our control.
